In-Browser Chart Engine Architecture

Browsetrailech provides a zero-latency, privacy-first data visualization pipeline engineered entirely on modern client-side standards. No spreadsheet data, financial figure, or personal row value ever touches a remote server.

1

Binary Array Buffer Reading

When an Excel (`.xlsx`, `.xls`, `.ods`) or delimited text (`.csv`, `.tsv`) file is selected or dragged onto the canvas, the browser's native `FileReader` API ingests the raw byte stream into an in-memory `Uint8Array`.

2

WASM/JS SheetJS Parsing

The compiled client-side SheetJS engine decompresses the OpenXML zip archive structure, parses cell formulas, dates, floating-point metrics, and converts sheet tabs into indexed JSON objects within browser sandbox memory.

3

Data Aggregation & Grouping

Our client aggregation worker automatically computes key statistical metrics (Sum, Average, Count, Max, Min) across categorical keys, sorting metrics in real-time according to user studio controls.

4

High-DPI HTML5 Canvas Render

Chart.js vector graphics rasterize elements onto standard HTML5 Canvas objects using native GPU hardware acceleration, allowing high-resolution high-DPI image exports up to 300 DPI.

Supported File Extensions & Data Specs

Browsetrailech handles structured tabular files up to standard browser RAM capacity limits without stalling browser user interfaces.

Format Extension Parsing Engine Client Memory Mode
Microsoft Excel 2007+ .xlsx SheetJS OpenXML Reader In-Memory Buffer
Microsoft Excel 97-2003 .xls SheetJS Binary Reader In-Memory Buffer
Comma / Tab Separated Values .csv / .tsv Stream String Delimiter Parser Direct String Processing
OpenDocument Spreadsheet .ods SheetJS XML Parser In-Memory Buffer

Enterprise Zero-Trust Security Guarantees

  • No External API Requests: Spreadsheet parsing occurs completely disconnected from backends.
  • Memory Sandbox Garbage Collection: Closing or refreshing the browser tab instantly purges all workbook data from system memory.
  • Air-Gapped Compatible: The application functions completely offline once initial CDN script bundles are cached by your web browser.

Privacy Policy

At Browsetrailech (accessible via Browsetrailech.yachts), user privacy and data security are core engineering principles rather than secondary policy additions.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Zero Data Transmission Guarantee

When you utilize our Chart Studio to upload, view, aggregate, or visualize spreadsheets containing financial statements, charter operational logs, performance statistics, or personal lists, your raw data files are never sent over the internet.

All file reading, array buffering, matrix transformation, and image rendering are executed strictly inside your device's web browser process sandbox.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Spreadsheet File Content: We do not store, upload, mirror, inspect, or log your spreadsheet contents.
  • No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): No registration, phone number, email address, or account login is required to use the visualization toolkit.
  • No Cross-Site Tracking Profiles: We do not deploy third-party advertising tracking beacons, pixel tags, or fingerprinting scripts.

3. Local Browser Storage Usage

Browsetrailech utilizes local browser storage (`localStorage`) strictly for preserving user interface states. Specifically:

Storage Key Purpose Retention Time
browsetrailech_consent Stores your choice regarding browser storage notice banners. Persistent until cleared
browsetrailech_palette Remembers your chosen default chart color theme preference. Persistent until cleared

4. CDN Assets & Infrastructure

Static application stylesheets, fonts, and open-source JavaScript libraries (SheetJS, Chart.js, Lucide Icons) are served via public Content Delivery Networks (unpkg.com, jsdelivr.net, googleapis.com). These CDNs may record standard web request metadata (IP address, user-agent string) solely for DDoS mitigation and server load optimization.

5. Rights Under GDPR & CCPA/CPRA

Because Browsetrailech does not store, transmit, or process your uploaded data files or personal profile records on remote servers, we maintain no database of personal information to erase or modify. You hold 100% control over your data by managing your local device storage and file filesystem.

6. Privacy Policy Inquiries
